I've Always Hated Being WrongI've never known just what to say
Because all I say is wrong.

I never know what what to do
Because I get confused.

Am I supposed to talk aloud
And search for help for them?

Or do I shut myself away-
Never cry and show them?

When I speak I'm wrong and hurt
Everyone I speak to.

When I'm shut up I'm told to talk
And hurt them if I don't....

Either way I'm hated-
Either way I hate myself-
Either way is wrong for me-
Uncomfortable for all.

Please just tell me what to do

You're always right there
When I need you.
And I know you'll always be here
So I'll never be alone.

Whether a companion is needed,
A friend to confide in,
A lover. A secret-keeper.
Or a comforting soul.
You take the form of them all.

You ask little back
As you give all you have.
You're open
And lovley
And true

And with you I can realize
That chocolate and flowers and
Superficial emotions
Are nothing.
Nothing.

And all I need is the sweetness of words.
The perfume of paper.
And all the love that laces each word
Written by a passionate hand.

something you missI miss the days when you were nothing
Like a dad to me.
When you didn't care what I thought
Or how I felt.
Before you tried speding time with me
And keeping me happy.
When your life was all about my brothers
And my mother and
There was no room left for me.
Before you made an excess of room
All just for me.

I miss the days when you didn't
Take me fishing.
When you didn't spend money
On everything I might
Or might not want.
When you didn't care if I was going
To Heaven or to Hell.
When nothing mattered
When it came to me.

I miss the times I could simply hide away
In my room with a book
And some music playing in the back

The butterfliesThe dance of death
That I admire,
They tease the room and never tire.

Appeasing breeze
Awakens skin.
They land on me and writhe within.

Inside; they churn,
They weave, convert.
The butterflies would never hurt.

I dream of you,
Your darling scent.
As I lay back and smile, content.

But I grow sad
And worn from waiting.
Butterflies are dissipating.

My mood has faded.
I can focus;

Mist ForbiddenWhat's in a dream?
I know not what it means,
This light and heat that scorns,
This fire that burns with heaven's sin.

I wait for you within this blissful place,
Where the darkness is thick and the fire bright,
I see red flowing through every crevice adn every corner.
And I feel your breath, or what once was.

Your face appears deeply veiled,
By a mist forbidden to cross the darkness,
And I hear your voice, a whisper in the vacant wind.

What's in a dream?

The Man and the MoonHer mouth corners hung themselves
and I began to wonder if that was the death of them.
A simple, quiet death;
without broken fingernails lining the walls
with the stripes of a despairing end.
I began to ache with the questioning in my heart
with the echoes reverberating in my capillaries

So I've just come back from church, which I am made to attend, even though I, myself, am agnoststic. Of course that means that I neither believe there is a god nor do I believe that the existence of a god is an impossibility. But anyways, I hate to see people with such closed minds that they shut out everyone with any kind of belief different from theirs. I think it's just wrong. But sadly, I see a lot of it. Alright, so I don't follow a religion (even though I used to be christain) but I do understand the bible. And even agree with certain parts of it! But... there are some parts I don't. And if you're going to ignore parts of a religion.... don't practice it! I'm sorry, I'm just a little frustrated with some people. People who can't accept differences in others. But.... really, it doesn't matter what religion or belief you practice, if any. I'll still love all of you! \(^-^)/
